The PCA is one of the fastest growing churches in America. From its founding in 1973 with 40,000 members in 240 congregations, it is quickly approaching 200,000 members in 1,200 congregations. The PCA is visionary in that it wants to reach great numbers of people in North America and around the world with the important news of hope, forgiveness and new life through Jesus Christ. Nearly 600 missionary are serving with the PCA's Mission to the World in 45 different countries. The PCA's vision for a warm Christian fellowship encourages spiritual growth and service. The PCA is Bible-based - it is committed to the values and teaching of God's Word and strives to disciple people through an accurate understanding and application of scriptural truth.
