Kids Place


We think kids in Grades 1-5 are terrific! We want to assist the parents in the spiritual development of their children by helping the kids learn to study the Bible, develop an authentic, saving relationship with Jesus Christ, grow in Christian character, and influence the world through community service and missions.

Kids get to stay in church with the adults until the sermon - then they are dismissed to Kids Place for music, Bible lessons, missions, skits, service projects, science mysteries, arts & crafts, games, pretzels & a great time!

 

Curriculum


Each week the kids discuss a Bible story with their grade-specific teacher using Bibles, original pictures & lively discussions. Grade 1 always goes through the main stories of the entire Bible. This year Grades 2-5 are going through the stories in Genesis and the gospel of John.

Doing What We Can

Once every 6 weeks each child has the opportunity to use their hands to make something for needy children around the world such as sewing and then filling totebags with necessary & fun items - soap, small toys & Christian literature. Hundreds of bags have been sent all over the world. Currently they are making 100 quilts for the very poor in Honduras.

Around the World

In addition to making totebags, quilts & other items for needy children we also take a weekly offering for a specific need. Currently we are collecting money for a food program in Musonda, Zambia where every family has been affected by AIDS.
