The Last Year: Jesus’ Earthly Life from the Gospel of Mark
The last year of Jesus' earthly life is a fast-moving series of events, teaching and challenges. In Mark's gospel, our attention is directed to the Son of Man who came into the world not to be served, but to serve and give His life as a ransom for many. This paradigm for discipleship is the remedy for humanity's perennial challenge, hard-heartedness. The grace to follow Jesus is realized in those who recognize and yield to Him as the Son of God and Lord of all. Watch live, Sundays at 9am, by clicking on image to left.

Gentle and Lowly: The Tender Heart of Christ for Sinners and Sufferers
Join us as we take a deeper look at the heart of Jesus Christ and his gentle, tender, and compassionate love for his people. Our class will have plenty of time for discussion, sharing, and questions as we discover again our Lord's love for us and seek to live out this love for others. We will be using Dane Ortlund's book, Gentle and Lowly, as our guide for the class but you do not have to buy the book to participate. Reach out to Matt Esswein (matte@valleysprings.org) for Zoom link.

Call to Prayer and Fasting
The Elders invite you to consider devoting yourself to prayer and fasting one day per week. We see the need to pray to the Lord for the historic challenges we are facing as a community and world, following the calling of our Lord Jesus Christ as he said, "Come to me, all who are weary, and I will give you rest." (Matthew 11:28-38). We will extend special prayer directions and liturgy for home use as well as making pastoral staff, elders, and other leaders available for prayer on Wednesdays, 3pm-5pm, on Bible Hill. Join us any week.
