Valley Springs' General Fund also supports the local and global missional efforts of the Northern California Presbytery and Mission to the World (MTW), the global missions organization of the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA).

Global Missionaries

Clayton and Emily Butler

  • Agape International Missions (AIM)

The Butlers serve in Cambodia, working with young women who don’t have jobs or families who love them. Please pray that they can help the young women to know that they are loved by Jesus, to help them have good jobs and a safe place to live, and to know that they can have a safe future.

Sardar and Anila Din

  • Westminster Biblical Missions (WBM)

Reverend Sadar Ahmed Din, Director of Ministries in Pakistan for Westminster Biblical Missions, is the founding member of the Lahore Council of Bible Believing Church serving as its stated clerk. The kingdom of Christ is growing in the Islamic nation of Pakistan, evidenced by the new construction of church buildings and God calling seven men to enroll in seminary for gospel ministry. The Word of God is reaching multiples in three major cities, through newly installed cable TV with Christian broadcasts.

Kelly and Cheri

  • Frontiers

Kelly and Cheri and their son, Juan Jose, live in a Bogota, Columbia. They work very closely with Pastor Victor Ibagon to recruit, train and mobilize Colombian workers from around the country toward mission work among the Islamic peoples.


Drew and Linka Parlee

  • Greater Europe Mission (GEM)

Drew travels to Europe to teach Discipleship Multiplication Training in countries considered “closed to the gospel”. Dozens have attended training, then go out to practice sharing the gospel; many people have prayed to receive Christ as Savior!

Mike and Erin Pettengill

  • Mission to the World (MTW)

The Pettengills serve in La Ceiba, Honduras. Mike is a team leader for a large missions team that focuses on discipleship, church planting, and medical and mercy ministries. Erin is a trained nurse. Mike and Erin’s team have planted four Honduran-led churches, opened a medical clinic, started a Christian high school, launched a home for teenage mothers, and created a drop-in center for homeless children.

Dunc and Mary Pfantz

  • Wycliffe

Dunc works with the Seed Company, launched by Wycliffe in 1993 to accelerate Bible translation. Dunc is facilitating translation in 22 Pacific languages and working to get Oral Bible Storytelling launched in these language communities.

Steve and Mary Santos

  • Wycliffe

Steve serves as Village Team Support Worker in Cameroon where he provides help with home projects and a listening ear to the villagers. Village technology includes fresh water, waste, solar electric and hot water systems. His goal is to help villagers function well and to provide emotional and spiritual encouragement. Mary is the coordinator for the Field Education System and serves as the principal at The Greenhouse.

Brian and Melissa Verdugo

  • Youth For Christ

Brian and Melissa Verdugo have pioneered Youth for Christ in Seychelles. (There are five schools with Campus Life Clubs with over 200 kids attending weekly.) They have also planted a seminary extension program where they provide training for local leaders.

Scott and Ana Wester

  • Yugo Ministries

Scott leads multiple YUGO programs in Mexico: pastoral training, Celebrate Recovery, food programs, prison ministry and children’s schools. They host short term mission teams from the United States and Canada. Ana helps appoint families to receive mission-built homes.

Stateside Missionaries

Michael Chase

  • Youth for Christ (YFC)

Michael Chase and new bride Tonya, are involved in evangelism with middle-schoolers in Roseville and Granite Bay. Michael disciples in small groups and one-on-one, interacting with students at YFC events and core studies.

Bill and April serve with Campus Crusade for Christ at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

Stan Inouye

  • Iwa

Founder of Iwa, Stan Inouye equips Christian churches, ministries, and individuals to reach Asian Americans with the gospel of Christ; Iwa is the Japanese word for “rock” and is used in the Bible to refer to the Lord as the Rock of our Salvation. 97% of Japanese Americans remain unreached by Christians and churches.
