Get to know Tom!
- Where are you from? Born and raised in Southern California (Covina and then Placentia). I settled here in Roseville after graduating from Cal State University Chico.
- What is your favorite food? Lover of most foods, but particularly fond of scallops, beef stroganoff, and Mexican food.
- A part of your history: I am retired from employment with the State of California, with over 30 years of service in the various areas of human resources management.
- Family facts: Married to my wife for over 30 years. We have two children, a son and a daughter, both married, and we have one four-year-old granddaughter.
- A memory about Valley Springs: We've been members at Valley Springs since 1988, and this church has sincerely blessed us in so many ways. Our children were actively engaged in the various youth programs throughout their school-age years. When they each left for college, they were confident and grounded in their faith. They also found local churches where they could attend and find a community of believers. We credit the youth ministry here for preparing them so well for this transition to adulthood. My wife and I have also regularly been a part of a community group, which has been the key to our feeling part of our church. These friends have blessed and supported us in more ways than we can count.
