- Where are you from? Tucson, AZ, and all over the states.
- What is your favorite food? Grilled beef - Tri-tip or Ribeye! And a Snickers Bar, it's real food!
- A fact about yourself: My faith, hope, and trust are in Christ!
- A part of your history: I'm a graduate from Cal Poly-SLO, blessed to be a manager in the Athletic Club industry. Being an Air Force "Brat," as a youth, our family traveled all over the country. I love lots of different activities: hiking, biking, fishing, tennis, pickleball, racquetball, you know... healthy, active, athletic club stuff.
- Family facts: I've been married for over 30 years, and I have one adult child. We currently have a cat.
- Favorite/Life Bible verse: John 3:16
- A memory about Valley Springs: Dillon Beach Youth camping trip with about 50 kids. We tried to set up tents and camp in one of the most horrible rain and wind storms ever! I thought we were all going to drown and get washed away! It was a difficult Friday night. We all stuck together and helped each other ride out the storm, and we put our faith in God that we would not be washed away. The next morning, it was crystal clear, sunny, warm, and beautiful!
I think it reminds me how sometimes life is that way, with difficult, stormy times. But on the other side of life's storm is the beautiful, sunny, warm love of our God. You just have to trust that God will come through for you, and help each other to make it through the storms. And of course, give thanks and praise to God for his faithful help.
